Surface Supplied Offshore Air Diver (Level 3)

Highest level training in the use and evaluation of air diving equipment, using an open (wet) bell, acting as a bell operator and diver, supported from the surface for offshore work, at a maximum operational depth of 50 meters. This diploma "Surface Supplied Offshore Air Diver (Level 3)" is fully recognized abroad.

Prerequisites.

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Be in excellent physical condition, able to remain on the surface for 15 minutes without using any aids or buoyancy. Able to swim 700 meters without stopping within 20 minutes using a mask, fins, and snorkel. Or swim 375 meters without stopping and without using a mask, fins, snorkel, or other swimming aids. Able to swim underwater for 25 meters using a mask and fins. And able to perform a full rescue of an unconscious diver over a total distance of 100 meters within eight (8) minutes.
• Be fit for diving, as evidenced by a related certificate from a hyperbaric doctor.
• Be already a holder of the Commercial SCUBA Diver and Surface Supplied Inshore Air Diver (IDSA Level 1+2) diploma.
• Application

Course Duration

You will receive theoretical training in the use and operation of surface-supported diving equipment from different training positions as a diver, assistant, and caretaker, at a maximum operational depth of 50 meters. You will learn the use and operation of different types of tools, with complex practical exercises and tasks.

After 2 weeks of training, you will be able to dive inland, coastally, and offshore using open-circuit self-contained breathing air equipment, surface-supported diving equipment, and an open bell. You will have gained practical knowledge in the tasks referred to in Levels 1 and 2.

Finally, upon passing the written exams, you can obtain the diploma "Surface Supplied Offshore Air Diver (Level 3)", fully recognized abroad.
